I just don't know what to do with myself

My hair is really long right now. Not Max long, but longer than it has been in probably about 5 years. I don't really know what to do with it anymore besides let is go crazy, braid it, or but it on top of my head in a nasty, nappy bun. Part of me thinks- "Betty! You've made it through the most terrible awkward part! It is only a matter of time before you are looking like one of these amazing Alexander Wang models!"

Lately it seems the forces of the universe are conspiring against me in an effort to get me to submit to the scissors.
Emma Watson just did it, and she looks AMAZING

Last month, Max and I went to see the fiftieth anniversary restoration of Breathless and I was reminded of how much I love Jean Seberg...and how much I loved it when people told me I reminded them of her.

I've also been listening to Rosemary's Baby by Ira Levin (it is totally awesome and scary) narrated by Mia Farrow
Mostly I've been thinking a lot about how there are some women who are just short hair women, like my number one Winona Ryder. Am I one of those women? I haven't decided but I probably should sometime soon before I go crazy.

I hope you figure it out! I love your hair no matter what you do.
I am a little bummed about Emma Watson though. She looks great, as usual, but I loved her curly hair.

I know what you mean, Elizabeth. I have been trying to grow my hair out for ages and lately I have been wondering if I'm just more comfortable/"me" with short hair. WHOOOOO knows.

I also love your hair no matter what you do because it/you always look beautiful! If you grow your hair out I swear that you could be a model for hair products.

you could be a model for anything! I don't know what to do with you either! You always look good with short hair, but long hair can be so beautiful. I'm still trying to grow my hair long enough to cover my boobs. I get so sick of it and also it gets light too fast. I like my hair really dark, but not black. blah blah blah. grow your hair out?

my vote = let it grow (at least until Christmas). It will be fun and then you can chop it all off again, grow, repeat.

i know your predicament. after all, i am your twin. i've discovered that my hair just doesn't look great if it hits below my chin. but ever since 2003 i've wanted to grow it really long. either way, your hair will just grow out, or you can cut it. it is just hair. i'm no help at all.

The longer my hair gets the less attractive I feel, but my friend Courtney has AMAZING super long and super thick curly hair and it is kind of inspiring. I sort of want mermaid hair (you know, to cover my boobs while I'm serenading sailors). As of right now I've decided to keep growing it...mostly because I do not have the $150 it would take to get it cut.

i have been wanting to blog about my hair for the longest time! i can totally relate to your hair situation right now! i've also been trying to let it grow but the longer it gets the bigger! so last week when i went to visit my family in PR, I got a keratine treatment done on my hair (my friend who is a hair stylist did it so it wasn't as expensive) and it was amazing!!! my curls are under control now and im now loving my long(er) hair. anyway, lets be strong and not cut our hair! maybe by next summer we will have mermaid hair!
